Welcome to 10 Paper Birch Lane, your new favorite home away from home. This beautiful reverse living home offers a wrap-around back deck with a 360-degree view of the serene woods, that’s perfect for an afternoon BBQ or evening star gaze. Once inside this 3-bedroom home, you’ll feel as though nature has been invited into every space from the numerous windows filtering in tons of natural light, vaulted wood-accented ceilings, and stone fireplaces (there’s two!). Upstairs you’ll find the living room with a floor to ceiling stone wall and wood fireplace inviting your entire group to enjoy each other’s company. You’ll love the feeling of openness as each room flows seamlessly into the next in this beautiful home.

The large kitchen with an island that’s fully stocked with your cooking essentials and offers a view of the forest from the sink and cooktop. The bar connected to the kitchen invites two members of your group to perch and share a laugh with the chef as dinner is being prepared. Once the meal is complete everyone will find a comfortable spot with an amazing view of the forest through the sliding glass door and framed window in the dining room.

As your day continues, take a moment to sit and watch the birds or the gathering of deer from the 2nd story deck that overlooks the wildlife area in the back of this home. You’ll feel tucked away but still be so close to all your favorite Sunriver amenities. If the kids and grown-ups need a little space of their own, one group can enjoy the second living room area located downstairs with an excellent selection of games, books, and movie choices!

At the end of the day, everyone will find their own private refuge in one of the 3 bedrooms in this home. It offers a king in the primary ensuite, two queen bedrooms, and a full bed in the common area. Home includes 3 full bathrooms, all fully renovated. Before you rest your weary head, treat yourself to a relaxing soak in the hot tub and possibly catch a glimpse of a shooting star with your favorite people surrounding you.

Clean and comfortable. As other reviews said, full of kitchen utensils & tools which was great for Thanksgiving. Loved all the board games. Plenty of towels. One heads up: If you're traveling with a baby or toddler, this house is a bit tough with the main floor being 1 story up, as the stairs are right by the kitchen. We managed to block them off, and also had to block the railings which were wide enough for her to fit through. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

Quick but lovely time in Sunriver

This is a great house for groups that like to spread out and have their space. We took a risk booking a house without AC in July but the weather was perfect with warm days and cool nights we didn’t miss it.

Awesome house for our family vacation to Sunriver. Great location with lots to do near by for our kids. The layout of the house was great, our kids loved being downstairs to have their own space and enjoyed using the hot tub. We loved the upstairs updated bathrooms, large master bedroom, cozy living room and large back deck. The house was very clean and could tell it was taken well care of. Would love to stay here again next time we visit Sunriver.

The house was beautiful and well-situated. Very close to Fort Rock Park for a quick bike ride with the kids, and easy to get back and forth from the Village. Everything was in working order and of high quality. We would highly recommend the house and Mark and Kate as hosts.

Our family loved staying here and even extended our stay by a day. We loved the space and the fact that there was a hot tub to help our sore muscles after a day of skiing was an even bigger bonus. Village Properties takes great care to make sure people (and dogs, this is a dog friendly place) feel welcomed and really did a fantastic job of making sure people have what they need from extra towels to plenty of soap and TP. The house is well equipped with kitchen needs as well as outdoor needs (think sleds or bikes/helmets). Village Properties was very responsive to something I wanted to let them know about from a previous renter and was quick to step in if needed. While parts of the house are original to when it was built, it did not hamper our week of fun! Thanks to Village Properties!

This place was very beautiful! Accommodating to 3 couples and 2 dogs. Hot tub was very nice. Our only complaint was how hot it was. No matter how many times we tried to turn the thermostat down, the furnace was always running. All of us were especially hot at night. However, would most definitely stay here again!

This airbnb experience was so smooth and enjoyable! The check-in was so easy, and information for the house and amenities was so clear, like how to use the hottub, grill, door lock, check-out, etc. which made the house feel so welcoming and comfortable. The place is truly beautiful, with spacious bedrooms, high ceilings, modern bathrooms, and a wrap around porch. We will definitely return! Thank you.

This was an ideal place to relax and ring in the new year with the family in the snow. The house was perfect. It is a little far from the village but actually made for a nice walk with the dogs. Good Place We spend every Christmas with family in Sunriver. This house plenty big for our group. Downstairs has a large family room with TV for kids. The master bedroom is very spacious but does not have a TV. All bathrooms have been updated very nicely. Dog friendly is always a must with us! -Vrbo Review

Had an issue with the keypad code, but team was super helpful in getting it resolved for us. Also we wanted to add a few days on the front edge of the visit (as the house was available) and team was super helpful and I was able to tack on the days/pay over the phone. We had a wonderful stay at Birch Tree Lane for the week of Thanksgiving. The house was clean and spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking! Beautiful views and a great location within Sun River. I would definitely stay here again. If you have kids, I highly recommend visiting the High Desert Museum which is close by. We also had a great meal at the Pine Tavern in downtown Bend. Our family is planning to come back to enjoy a summer visit to Sun River and Bend! - Kathleen M. from Lafayette

Overall a good experience. However, the bathrooms all need to be updated. Low flow toilets should be installed. The master bathroom shower drain was clogged so water collected while we were showering. All the TV's had multiple wands without explanation for how to use them. Property should be updated to streaming services. Also, the house reeked of cleaning solvent when we first entered. We opened all the windows to air it out. Deck was lovely. Location easy to find. This place was exactly what we were looking for and we felt very safe as the place was obviously thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. We had to speak with the front desk people a couple of times and they were so friendly and down to earth and, most importantly, helpful. Beds are firm but felt fine to all of us (better to be too firm than not firm enough imo) and the bathroom fixtures were a bit dated but we didn't mind. Everything we needed worked great (i.e. hot tub) but we didn't try the master bathtub or any of the t.v.s.We will totally stay here again; if not in this same house then definitely use Village Properties again for sure. Make sure you look for the Wi-fi login before calling. The one emailed is incorrect and there is a note with the correct one. It was covered up by our stuff so we didn't see it until the next day. My partner and I took a quick trip to Sunriver to get some quiet time away from home. The house was awesome and we will definitely rent again with friends/family down the line. My only complaint would be some outdated information that could use an update. I received a lot of confirmation emails with instructions, including our password to get into the home/wifi passwords. The keypad was slightly different than the instructions provided but it was easy enough to figure out. However, the wifi password they shared for the property did not work. When I called the next day, the customer serivce informed me the password was something completely different. Would be nice to have that info noted inside of the property with the other instructional notes. Small, small stuff - overall such a great stay and the customer service was excellent. A little close to other neighbors but the space is set up to give lots of privacy. 100% recommend and will be back. - Anonymous from Eugene

We really enjoyed this house. It felt like we went back to our childhood in the early 90’s. Great house! It is well kept, clean, lots of extra towels, easy layout for our large group. Well stocked kitchen, we cooked in for every meal with ease. I would say our only complaint would be the hard beds, though one out of our group of 8 was pleased with that... we would return again in a heartbeat.
