Welcome to the beautiful home of 13 Loon! This home features magnificent views of the Deschutes River and Cardinal Landing Foot Bridge that can be enjoyed from both the upper and lower decks. In addition, guests will be delighted to find that the trail is just steps away from the back deck, making it easy to enjoy long walks or bike rides along the river.

All the bedrooms in this reverse living home are located on the main level, providing guests with their own private sanctuary. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, newly remodeled bathroom and access to the lower back deck. Other bedrooms include a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and double bunkroom on the main floor.

Upon entering the home, guests will be greeted by beautiful high ceilings with accented wood paneling and updated furnishings. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for any chef, with forest views and all the tools needed to create culinary masterpieces. Fantastic rental for large groups

Two living rooms make this a fantastic rental for large groups. The location is quiet and accessible to the walking paths which was great for walks and bike rides. The mountain bikers in our group liked the location to trails. Only con was the amount of stairs not shown in the photos. If you have anyone in your group who struggles with stairs this home would be a challenge. There is no way to access the house without stairs. The stairs are wood and can be slippery. We had a lovely time and would recommend the house.

The most peaceful location

13 Loon is a large, beautiful house in the most peaceful location right on the river. We woke up to birds singing and had a doe and fawn walking through our yard. Having 2 living spaces, 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was great for our large group as well.

We love Sunriver and will definitely stay here again. It was great to walk right into the river to put our inflatables in after parking down at the takeout spot. This house is beautiful and very convenient having 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The lack of air conditioning was no problem since the bedrooms are downstairs and even in July it cools down at night. Bring your own spices and condiments for cooking in the fully stocked kitchen.

The house was attractive, but clearly not a house for older people to share- 3 sets of stairs to get anywhere. Also the sunken living room is nice but two wide shallow oak steps into living room pose a trip hazard as they blend into the floor. The game table was nice to have. You can see the River through the trees which was nice and the decks well- furnished. The furniture throughout the place was made for large people, even the beds were way too high to get into without throwing yourself in! They were comfortable once you made the leap. This house was too expensive for what it is and not a good fit for older adults.

Overall had a great stay at Loon 13! The house was spacious for our group and had the essentials for cooking, etc. Loved being by the river & bike path. There was no patio furniture which was disappointing as the photos showed patio furniture, and the 2 king beds need new mattresses, they both sank in toward the middle quite a bit and not very comfortable.

Bed frames in two of the bedrooms were either falling apart or were very wobbly in the case of the bunk beds. Something should be done with these before one of the guests is injured. The one king bed has long screws or nails that stuck out on one of the side rails. One of us cut our hand slightly reaching underneath.

Arrival was simple and clear. House was clean and organized. We had a group of 9. 6 adults and 3 teens. The home was just right for our group overall. At times the kitchen was tight with more than two people cooking or cleaning. The decks were nice, especially the lower deck during the heat of the day, as there is no shade on the upper deck. The bedrooms worked out well, but there are a lot of stairs, so anyone with physical limitations may struggle. One bedroom just has a single sink in the room which we found odd, yet convenient for washing up if the adjacent shared bathroom was occupied. The air conditioning did not work well at all, but we got by with fans and keeping the drapes pulled during the heat of the day. The downstairs stayed cool, but upstairs did get very warm. The best thing about the home is the location right next to the bridge. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the top of the bridge. Amazing.
