Property manager at Village Property was insisting that we needed to leave on the 21st even though I showed her my confirmation through Bookings showing we booked it to the 22nd. Wasted whole morning dealing with tissue. They blamed Bookings for sending incorrect information. Very stressful.

We really liked this home as it fit our family perfectly and is in a perfectlocation. Just a 20 minute walk to the village. It has a nice big deck off a fairly private area and we spend a lot of time gathering there. The bike path is out there and we enjoy people watching as well. It also has a nice great room so the 6 of us could gather comfortably inside as well. Larger group than that will find it hard to all be together. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and there were lots of extra towels for the hot tub or SHARC. And it was nice having AC when it was hot during the day. On the flip side I will say a couple of the beds were somewhat uncomfortable, especially the lower bed of the bunks. Our 30 yr old son slept there and his back was killing him each morning. Also, the knives are duller than any I’ve ever used. Almost impossible to cut with. And the coffee pot is very cheap, no stopping to get a cup and it doesn’t turn off after two hours.All said, we love the staff at Village Properties and overall like the house and will likely stay again, just hopeful they might replace the mattress and sharpen the knives.

Perfect! Felt very private! No noise from other homes. This home was extremely nice and we were amazed at how well equipped the kitchen was, with plenty of dishes, mixing bowls, pots and pans and plenty of utensils for cooking, salads, etc. We would definitely rent this home again and especially like the location, just a mile from the Village. We rented two other homes and all our family members gathered in our home for dinner. it was nice to have two large outdoor tables so we could all eat together outside.

We escaped from Seattle to Acacia Lane 2 for a quick get away with our family. Unlike earlier reviews, we found the home very clean and in excellent shape. The great room is fantastic with plenty of seating for the six of us. The location is just a mile walk to the central village and a half mile or so to the park. The appliances and kitchen supplies were excellent. The small third bedroom could use a new mattress as one of our couples moved to the bunk room after the first night. The house itself was lovely, but the pictures are a bit deceiving. Looked like it was a bit more secluded than it actually is. Housekeepers don't look in the couches or chairs for garbage or in the garage, we found garbage in all those areas. We assumed that the air hockey table in the kids room was there, but upon our arrival it wasn't which was disappointing, the pullout couch was broken, the bunk bed is a bit unstable. Some things throughout the house are outdated. The light fixture in the living room needs a good cleaning. The hot tub was nice but the jets don't stay on for more than five minutes, and the lid won't stay up. The cable in the back room doesn't work, we called bend broadband as instructed to do and they said that the box needs to be updated. The bed in the back room is hard as a rock. We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia 2 in Sunriver. There were 3 couples who stayed there and all of us had a very comfortable bed. And it was nice for each couple to have their own bathroom. The bathroom towels were better than most other places we have stayed in.The hot tub was great.The kitchen was very spacious to work in. If we have any complaint, there wasn’t enough dinner plates and silverware. Close to fort rock park, village, and sharc. Family/pet friendly layout. The hot tub and deck are in same area. June has lots of caterpillars and pollen. Slick trails for the bikes. Definitely could be cleaner around the living area. (Dusty and spiders) Rooms are clean, comfortable beds. Master king/small has shower. Showers are dated no spa tub. We always enjoy our vacations in Sunriver, we visit each year. We had to cancel our June vacation down there and re-scheduled for Sept after this crazy year due to COVID and all of the restrictions. My wife was a little hesitant to rent a house with everything going on, she works in the medical field. We had reviewed the cleaning policy and we felt confident with the procedures you had in place. We stayed at Acacia Lane 2. The house itself was great, nice and spacious and relaxing. The negatives were; most of the common areas in the kitchen, dining area, etc were filthy. We had brought some cleaning products with us in case we needed to clean some things or areas. Myself, my wife and our daughter cleaned all areas of the house when we first arrived. We were shocked to see how dirty the house actually was. The kitchen counters and floors were disgusting. Our lysol wipes were brown/dirty after cleaning all of the areas. In the master bedroom, the closet behind the bedroom door had a smell which I cannot describe. My sense of smell has been damaged by working in Law Enforcement for 22+ years. But even I could smell the tremendous odor coming from the closet. We had to wash the bed pillows on our first night down there, they actually smelled of someone's else's sweat which was disgusting. My wife ended up placing a towel over her pillow the entire time we were down there, even after washing them on our first night. So please don't get me wrong, we enjoyed the house in general (great layout and spacious) but the cleanliness of the house was far below par. We had a Small snafu when we arrived to check in but Brad with VP was over the top apologetic and went out of his way to make it up to us (thanks again!). This house has a wonderful location for those wanting to be close to Fort Rock Park and the Village! It was less than 10 min bike ride to both. The back porch swing was the best way to start and end my day, I loved sitting & enjoying the peaceful setting. The part of the bike path visible from the back is not heavily traveled. The house itself is well loved & yes the bathrooms (showers) and carpets could be improved and updated but it did not detract from our stay at all! The kitchen was well stocked & functioned just fine for us. Bed were comfortable, but we did not need to try the pull out couch - it looked a bit older. We loved the location, the deck, and the layout of the house. It worked well for the situation. We also loved having AC. It was a hot week. The house had basically everything we needed, but we needed to call maintenance a few times. We found mouse droppings in a few drawers in bedrooms and the doors to several rooms squeaked badly. We also found the house not as clean as we have come to expect at Sunriver. The floors in particular were quite grungy. We loved our stay at Acacia #2! A great family house with many special memories for us.... gathered around the table for meals & jigsaw puzzles, watching the fire as the snow fell, cooking together in the roomy kitchen, and family walks to park and mall.
