I see all the reviews for a well stocked kitchen, that was indeed great, but being so stocked made it hard to store groceries for our weeks stay or 8 people. There was no cupboard space to keep it due to so many dishes and kitchen items. There was no drying mat for dishes or dish drainer. We were also only provided with two towels/cloths for our longer stay. Additionally, I realize this is a pet friendly home (we did not bring our dog) but the carpet very much needs to be replaced. I’m not sure how well the kitchen floor was cleaned either as taking a napkin to the floor after dropping some water ended in a blackened napkin. Our back deck slider was so stiff to open and close. We had them come try to grease it and it didn’t work. We had to use the side door to go to the deck. There was also a rug under the kitchen table that’s a severe tripping hazard and should be removed. The description also doesn’t tell you that there’s train tracks right behind you. Lastly, the washer is older and worked fine but smells of mildew badly. In my opinion this home needs to be reinvested into with some new carpet/floors and finishes. Despite my thoughts above, this home worked great for our family, we had a good time and memories were made. That’s what was important to us.
