Overlooking the Deschutes River, 55905 Wood Duck Drive is a spacious two level home located approximately 7 miles South of Sunriver is your key to relaxation. Launch your canoe or kayak directly from the back yard and float down to Harpers Bridge. Enjoy a book down by the River, or fly fish off the bank. The views of this home are spectacular and breathtaking.

The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a cozy gas fireplace to warm up to on chilly nights. The large windows offer a stunning view of the surrounding Deschutes woods and water, additionally the plush seating is perfect for cuddling up with a good book or movie.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to prep meals and has modern appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. The ample counter space makes it easy for family and friends to gather around. The dining table seats six people comfortably, with water front views.

There are three bedrooms at Wood Duck 5, each with a comfortable beds and fresh linens. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the other two bedrooms have a queen bed. The cabin has two bathrooms, one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. Both bathrooms are stocked with fresh towels and basic toiletries, so you don't have to worry about packing your own. This cabin does not have air conditioning and will provide box fans in the bedrooms. Wood Duck 5 is not pet friendly home and will not allow pets on the property.

Cozy large house in a fantastic location directly on the river

A beautiful, large house in a great location right on the river. We particularly enjoyed the seating area along the Deschutes River; it has a unique, wonderful atmosphere both in the morning and in the evening. The large terrace also offered nice seating. The house itself is comfortably furnished and we lacked nothing. On a cooler evening we sat comfortably in front of the gas fireplace. Even though there was obviously no way to darken the room, the upstairs bedroom with its beautiful, large bathroom and huge shower was great. The kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house with its stunning location on the river! The garden area behind the house was somewhat unkempt; there was no real lawn, just molehills.

In the property description there were box fans in each bedroom but when we arrived on a very hot day there we're only two fans in the whole house that worked. I found a large dried out tick inside of my bed which was very unsettling but I gave up talking to management after my first conversation regarding the fans. They pushed back pretty hard about addressing issues and I didn't want to ruin my weekend. If I had the ability to attach pictures I would show the tick.

Had a very enjoyable time at the house on the river. It is exactly like the photos. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Very close drive to Sunriver and close enough to Bend to enjoy the town. If you’re looking to relax this is the spot! The host was very easy to contact and quickly responded usually within minutes. Beautiful views of the river and we even got daily visits from deer!

The reason for our 9 day stay was to monitor the construction of our new home in the area. We were pleased to be away from the huddle and bustle of many of the city centered houses, but we were pleased with the rural characteristics of the homes including the friendliness of the neighbors.The house was very clean and very well cared for. Although a bit older, everything functioned as it should, and the kitchen was well supplied.Wi-Fi was great but we found the operation of the streaming services on the flat screen to be a bit difficult to operate. We were able to watch our sportsAnd other programming on our iPads due to the robust Wi-Fi connection. Thank you.It was a bit cold for outdoor activity in the backyard, however, we were able to pull out a couple of very comfortable from the garage and watch the wildlife by the river.
