Perfect Sunriver House

The house layout is perfect for gathering friends and family. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking nice meals. The beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal for quick bike rides or walks into town and easy access to the walking and riding paths. The view from the deck and dining room is peaceful and private.

This is our second time staying at lost lane 11 (2022 and this visit, 2024). We stayed here both because it is a known commodity and because the single level layout was what we needed for a 1 year old and a 7 year old. The layout worked equally well for a family with kids as it did for a group of adults base-camping for the Cascade Lakes Relay. ***Note that despite the fact that the home is without SHARC passes, if you contact the management company and text a receipt from your day at SHARC they will reimburse you for the cost. No problem. Pros: Kitchen newly redone. Totally usable to cook for a large group. Layout is open and comfortable. Two wings - a large bet room with an attached bathroom (also open to the hallway) and next to the laundry and garage door - this was great for isolating a smaller child for a nap. Other wing with a master suite (with bathroom, sliding door to deck and door to hot tub area), a bedroom with a double and a bunk bed with a jack-and-jill bathroom that connects to a queen (king?) bedroom. Worked great for a family of 6 and a family of 4 (kids aged 17, 15, 13, 13, 7, 1). Back deck is in good shape, much better than the other house we rented, maintained by Vacasa. Quiet, comfortable, entirely functional. Management company was very responsive. They graciously provided a pack and play for the infant, and promised a high chair. When the high chair wasn’t in the house at the time of our arrival, they had it over right away once notified. Cons: I really don’t have any. We were in Sunriver during the summer Olympics, and the audio on the TV stopped working at one point. Within 12 hours of alerting the management company, the issue was fixed (8 of those hours were overnight, so pretty decent turnaround time). Outstanding stay, and we’re already planning our next.

2 families - 4 (parents, 7yo, 1yo) and 6 (parents, 17, 15, 13, 13). House is in great shape, and the kitchen counters have been nicely replaced since our last stay here in 2022, when we spent a few days here as our base camp during the Cascade Lakes Relays. Pros: Great setup if traveling with kids. Single level with two wings, allowing you to isolate little ones away from everyone else for naps. Kitchen is easily able to accommodate cooking for a large group. New induction top stove was a nice touch. All you need for cooking in the relatively well organized cupboards. Although no SHARC tickets included, if you text your receipts to the management company, they will reimburse your entrance fees - nice! Nice, open layout was great for a big group. We used the back deck (in good condition) for card games and relaxing; living room served a similar purpose. Management was highly responsive. Provided a pack’n’play and high chair for us, and when the latter was not there on our arrival, they promptly delivered one. Similarly, the sound on the TV went out on day 2 as we watched the summer Olympics; they had it repaired while we were out the following morning. Cons: None, really. We’ve stayed in this home twice now, and we’ll try to stay here in the future, too. In comparison with other management companies (Vacasa), this experience was head and shoulders above. There really was no question: we rented two lost lane homes contemporaneously and were able to directly compare.

Loved this house! Everything was great except one thing. No cable TV. We missed this in the "description" and were very disappointed. We were all set to rent again, but for this missing amenity, we probably won't. We loved the house . It was an open concept house which was great for our grandson who was crawling everywhere. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The house was wonderful, the stove had some issues with a couple of the burners not lighting, they sent someone to look at it at he got two of the burners working but that was it. The hot tub chemicals were not at a healthy level we called the service for that they came out twice but didn’t fix the problem. So we weren’t able to use the hot tub. We still had a wonderful time!
