Crater Lake National Park (approximately 90 miles from Sunriver) is an incredible blue lake that sits in the crater of Mount Mazama, an ancient volcano that blew its top thousands of years ago. The crater gradually filled with rainwater and snowmelt, and is now the United States’ deepest lake! Its waters are among the most pristine on earth, and it is certainly a beautiful sight to behold.
