SUMMARY:Orville Peck
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nA purposefully enigmatic performer\, Orville Peck’s music fuses elements of goth\, ethereal alternative and indie rock with grand-scale vocals\, in addition to iconography that honors classic country music from the ’50s and ’60s. Combining the lulling ambiance of shoegaaze with the iconic melodies and vocal prowess of classic American outlaw country music\, Orville Peck croons about love and loss from the badlands of North America. The resulting sound takes the listener down the dusty rose-colored desert highways; through a world where worn out gamblers\, road-dogs and lovesick hustlers drift in and out of his masked gaze. \nHis voice conveys its own sense of classic mystery: Peck croons with a deep\, soulful sound that’s been compared to Elvis Presley\, Roy Orbison and Chris Isaak. In 2020\, Peck signed with Columbia Records. His first EP for the label\, “Show Pony\,” included the track “Legends Never Die\,” a duet with country-pop superstar Shania Twain. That same year\, he recorded a steel guitar-influenced cover of Bronski Beat’s “Smalltown Boy” as part of a Pride Month digital singles series\, as well as a pair of Righteous Brothers covers with vocalist Paul Cauthen under the banner of the Unrighteous Brothers. In 2021\, at the request of Lady Gaga\, he recorded a cover of her signature hit “Born This Way” for a collection honoring the 10th Anniversary of the original album’s release. Later that year\, Peck recorded a cover of the Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash classic “Jackson” as a duet with drag performer Trixie Mattel for their EP “Full Coverage\, Vol. 1” and remixed the vintage k.d. lang number “Miss Chatelaine” for her Makeover collection. April 2022 brought Peck’s second full-length LP\, “Bronco\,” which paired his expansive voice with full-bodied production and arrangements that added accents of rockabilly\, ’60s pop\, psychedelia\, and bluegrass to his mix. The song “All I Can Say” featured a duet vocal with Bria Salmena\, a member of the Canadian indie rock band Frigs who moonlights in Peck’s road band. Big things are in store for Orville Peck in 2024\, and in true mysterious fashion\, we’ll have to wait until The Stampede comes to town to see for ourselves.

SUMMARY:Crowded House
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n‍ \n\n\n\nFor more than four decades\, Crowded House leader Neil Finn has been on an evolving\, winding journey. Crowded House’s mid-Eighties hits like “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Something So Strong\,” combined with albums like “Woodface” and “Together Alone\,” set the standard for the period’s erudite jangle-pop while always pushing the band’s art forward. \nThat creative spirit brings Finn and his Crowded House bandmates to “Gravity Stairs\,” their first new release since 2021’s “Dreamers Are Waiting” and eighth overall. Produced by the band with Steven Schram\, the album shows Crowded House in its current incarnation — Finn\, Nick Seymour\, Mitchell Froom\, and Finn’s sons Elroy and Liam — as sharp as ever\, feeling musically adventurous\, and still capable of reaching the staggering highs that have made them an international favorite. It’s the act of climbing those figurative “gravity stairs\,” inspired by a heavy stone staircase near where Finn vacations\, that he likens to his own mindset as a creator. \nThe Gravity Stairs are symbolic of the struggle to ascend\, acknowledging the opposing forces of weight on the mechanics of living. It’s an act of will everyday. \nThemes of connection and love pop up in several places on “Gravity Stairs”. “All That I Can Ever Own” begins with a funky drum beat and shimmering keyboards as it examines impermanence through child rearing and property under threat by rising waters. By the time it reaches its conclusion\, it’s arrived at something that sounds like jubilation. “There’s an awareness that you can’t really control the outcomes of what happens when you love someone\,” Finn says. \nPeople will certainly relate to the idea that no matter what you’re thinking about at 2 in the morning\, it feels like obsession\,” he says. “And when I’m working on songs\, that’s the reality: I’m going to bed with a tune going round in my head\, and I’ll wake up with a tune going round in my head.” \nAnd as he has so many times before\, Finn will make the decision to scale those gravity stairs yet again to see what awaits at the top.

SUMMARY:Dan + Shay
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\n \nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nThree-time Grammy-winning duo Dan + Shay continue to etch a permanent mark on country music – and beyond – with the release of the duos highly anticipated fifth studio album\, “Bigger Houses\,” co-produced by the band’s Dan Smyers and Scott Hendricks. \nTheir single “Save Me The Trouble\,” which Rolling Stone Country succinctly describes as “anthemic\,” landed at Country radio having the most adds for the week\, marking the duo’s largest career add day ever\, in addition to being the highest Country Aircheck debut since June 2022. The first offering from “Bigger Houses” features an ascending melody that builds into an explosive chorus\, “Save Me The Trouble” showcases a sound indicative of the new record’s direction that emphasizes a more live\, organic feel. \nThe long-awaited new music follows the duo’s record shattering\, critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning album\, “Good Things”. Also co-produced by Smyers\, the highly imaginative LP featured their most recent country radio No. 1’s – the Platinum-certified hits “I Should Probably Go To Bed” and 2x Platinum “Glad You Exist\,” which marked the duo’s sixth consecutive No.1 and ninth career No.1\, as well as the 5x Multi-Platinum global smash “10\,000 Hours” with Justin Bieber. In addition\, the Platinum-certified album “Good Things” was the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA Gold certification at release and is one of the only 12 albums all-genre to be released and go Gold in 2021.

SUMMARY:Ray Lamontagne and Gregory Alan Isakov
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\n‍\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\n \nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nWith a voice that recalls a huskier\, sandpapery version of Van Morrison and Tim Buckley\, Grammy winner Ray LaMontagne joins such artists as Iron & Wine in creating folk songs that are alternately lush and intimately earthy. Following his full-length debut\, 2004’s “Trouble\,” he gradually broadened his musical palette\, incorporating horns and strings on 2006’s “Til the Sun Turns Black” and evoking the psychedelic pop and country-rock of the late 1960s and early ’70s with his fifth album\, the Dan Auerbach-produced “Supernova”. Issued in 2014\, the latter became his third straight album to peak at number three on the Billboard 200. Teasing a change of direction in a note to a group of fans\, LaMontagne worked with My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James on his next outing\, 2016’s “Ouroboros”. Designed for full-album play\, it was immersed in blues guitar and a rich psychedelic tapestry built with vintage instruments. LaMontagne’s eighth long-player\, 2020’s “Monovision\,” was his first entirely self-recorded effort\, including all instrument performances. \nBorn in Johannesburg\, South Africa\, and now calling Colorado home\, horticulturist/musician Gregory Alan Isakov has cast an impressive presence on the indie-rock and folk worlds with his six full-length studio albums and his newest album\, “Appaloosa Bones”. Of “Appaloosa Bones\,” MOJO states\, “Prime Isakov: his velvet baritone glides over elegant and shimmering Wild West mirages.” The Associated Press proclaims\, “He has that magical ability to convey both urgency and grandeur at the same time… simple. Straightforward. Utterly evocative.” And No Depression declares\, “this is Isakov’s genius. He turns a short poem into a magnificent piece of music that can captivate for hours.” \n‍

SUMMARY:Chromeo and The Midnight
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS ON SALE NOW. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nAs you already know (unless you’ve been living in a vibes vacuum since the early 2000s)\, Chromeo is the paramount funk band of our time. Friends since childhood\, Dave 1 and P-Thugg \n\nhave built an empire of soigné\, danceable and intelligent music over the course of two decades. Few duos can claim this kind of psychic togetherness and evergreen staying power. One must venture into the stratosphere to find precedents. And now that Dave’s double-breasted suits are popping and Pee’s turtlenecks are in effect mode\, it’s safe to say that we can rely on Chromeo to stick around for years to come. \nChromeo’s new album “Adult Contemporary” is more ambitious specifically because it revolves solely around two besties at the top of their game\, doing absolutely everything on their own. Hence a deeply intimate feel\, with Dave and Pee accomplishing two things at once: getting back to basics in terms of method while also expanding the songwriting and atmosphere. The Chromeo blueprint of maximum funk earnestness sits front and center. \nThe word “contemporary” is an interesting choice for a band who has always been equally of-the-moment and openly indebted to its ancestors. But in an era when everything is available all the time\, seamlessly melding together the new and the old might just be the most contemporary act an artist can commit. Chromeo offers us a singularity of funk\, with music more elegant and considered than ever before. \nFrom its synth-heavy beginnings to arena rock chords and infectious pop hooks\, The Midnight’s musical journey is one fueled by insatiable curiosity. The duo lives at the intersection of varying paths\, driven by the frictional spark that fires when Southern-born singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle melts his all-American dreamer tales with Danish-bred drummer and producer Tim McEwan’s cinematic soundscapes. \nTogether\, they form something deeper than just house\, vibier than pop\, and altogether more exciting than the sum of its parts. There are slivers of Springsteen\, pieces of The Police\, the audacity of AC/DC and the hair-raising attitude of arena rock all mixed all up in sexy-but-sensitive sing-alongs custom built to be belted in a venue full of music lovers.

DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on sow night.\n‍ \n\n\n\nYou can capsulize most pop music acts by reciting how many hits they’ve had and how many millions of albums they’ve sold. But these conventional measurements fall short when you’re assessing the impact of The Beach Boys. This band has birthed a torrent of hit singles and sold albums by the tens of millions. But its greater significance lies in the fact that The Beach Boys’ songs have forever changed the musical landscape\, profoundly influencing countless performing artists to follow. \n  \nAt the helm of The Beach Boys is lead singer and critically acclaimed lyricist\,  Mike Love\, a founding member whose leadership has steered the band through decades of musical evolution. Grammy-winning songwriter Bruce Johnston joined The Beach Boys in 1965\, replacing Glenn Campbell\, who filled-in for Brian Wilson\, on vocals/bass\, when he retired from touring. Highly regarded in his field\, Johnston brought with him a wealth of experience from working with icons like Elton John and Pink Floyd\, The Byrds\, cementing his place among rock’s elite. \nThe Beach Boys have been a significant presence at major events\, including Live Aid and the Statue of Liberty’s 100th Anniversary Salute\, showcasing their unparalleled ability to captivate audiences. Mike Love’s contributions as a songwriter\, in collaboration with Brian Wilson\, have produced timeless hits like “Surfin’\,” “Fun\, Fun\, Fun\,” and “California Girls\,” “Warmth of the Sun\,” “Good Vibrations\,”  and long list of other titles highlighting his enduring talent. \n  \nThe current lineup\, including musical director Brian Eichenberger\, Christian Love\, Tim Bonhomme\, Jon Bolton\, Keith Hubacher\, Randy Leago\, and John Wedemeyer\, continues to honor and expand upon the band’s iconic Live performance legacy. This dedication is evident in their rigorous touring schedule\, with the band performing an average of 150 shows a year across a variety of venues worldwide.

Bound by their devotion to a musical agenda that relies on the spirit of collaboration and improvisation\, and a social agenda that advocates for the freedom and legalization of marijuana\, Slightly Stoopid’s musical melting pot continues to earn the respect of their mentors and peers\, inspire countless young musicians\, and delight millions of fans. \nDoughty and McDonald remain unwavering in their principles of independence\, honoring their diversity of influences and mentors\, and furthering their inherited legacy of the Southern California sound. “Once we found music as a form of expression\, as an outlet\, we did whatever it took to survive\,” said McDonald.  “We are who we are- a product of Southern California.  And\, we are where we are in life because of how passionate we are about the music.” \nDirty Heads mix hip-hop\, reggae\, and rock to create a unique sound that both fully embodies their Southern California roots and resonates with audiences around the globe. The group formed when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend\, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J)\, to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves. Watson added singing to his vocal skills\, and later with percussionist Jon Olazabal\, drummer Matt Ochoa\, and bassist Dave Foral\, Dirty Heads began building an immense audience. \nThe band’s global appeal reached new heights in 2021\, when their hit “Vacation” (originally released in 2017) garnered over six billion views and streams across social media via the ubiquitous #VacationTransition challenge that originated organically with users on TikTok. \nIn 2023 Dirty Heads released the digital deluxe version of their album “Midnight Control”\, featuring 23 tracks including acoustic versions of hit songs “Rescue Me\,” “Life’s Been Good\,” and “Island Glow\,” Lo-Fi versions of three album tracks\, three unreleased songs and more in addition to all ten tracks from the original album. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT. \n\n\n\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on sow night.\n\n\n\nMEGADETH recently crafted “The Sick\, The Dying… And The Dead!” a record with a visceral energy\, heaviness\, and sometimes paranormal pace that few would expect from such a seasoned band with so little to prove. The album melds the ultra-frenetic  riffing\, fiercely intricate guitar solos\, and adventurous spirit of the quartet’s groundbreaking early output with the musicality and melodicism of its ‘90s songwriting\, all laced with signature virtuosity and precision – plus\, of course\, Mustaine’s singular vocal snarl and wry\, take-no-shit lyrical vitriol. \nBoth defying Mustaine’s recent battle with throat cancer and celebrating his defeat of the disease\, “The Sick\, The Dying… And The Dead!” counterintuitively thrived on delays and cancelled tours resulting from both his illness and the worldwide pandemic. “The fact that we had so much time to work on it benefitted the songs in the end\, because they kept evolving\,” notes drummer Dirk Verbeuren. “Parts kept being refined; the ‘ear candy’ and the little details just kept getting better.” \nFeaturing some of Mustaine’s strongest-ever songwriting\, including collabs with bandmates\, “The Sick\, The Dying… And The Dead!” brings together everything that’s exhilarating and distinctive about MEGADETH. From the blistering throwback fury of “Night Stalkers” (featuring the iconic Ice-T) and first single “We’ll Be Back\,” to the more mid- tempo and melodic “Soldier On!” and the very personal title track\, with its enthralling twists and turns. \nAs always with MEGADETH\, every riff is meticulously fashioned to constantly crescendo\, with new harmonic elements endlessly manifesting and every detail structured for maximum musical and emotional effect. Yet\, through all of the album’s moods and movements\, MEGADETH never loses the crucial groove that binds the band members to one another and the foursome to its audience. \n“The Sick\, The Dying… And The Dead!” is a relentlessly caffeinated\, riff-fueled romp of a record in its technical prowess\, ambitious arrangements\, staggering guitar solos\, and nihilistic yet eloquent lyricism. Acoustic intros and interludes\, a sense of progressive adventure\, and Mustaine’s trademark socio-political commentary round-out the record. \n‍

As a boy\, he sang for his Free Will Baptist Church congregation and learned a few chords on a guitar given to him by his grandfather. He absorbed the classic rock his father liked\, along with country artists of the ‘80s\, such as Alabama\, Ricky Skaggs\, and Hank Williams Jr. He started writing songs at 13 and occasionally played them for friends at parties. DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\n \nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nTrampled by Turtles are from Duluth\, Minnesota\, where front man Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time\, Simonett had lost most of his music gear\, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who’d ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar\, he began piecing together a new band\, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass\, folk\, and other genres that didn’t rely on amplification. Simonett hadn’t played any bluegrass music before\, and he filled his lineup with other newcomers to the genre\, including fiddler Ryan Young who’d previously played drums in a speed metal act and bassist Tim Saxhaug. Along with mandolinist Erik Berry and banjo player Dave Carroll\, the group began carving out a fast\, frenetic sound that owed as much to rock and roll as bluegrass. \n“There’s always been this sense in our band that if you put your heads down and focus on doing it the best that you can — playing the shows the best that you can\, playing your instruments the best that you can\,” Erik Berry told Rolling Stone\, “then good things will come from that.” That good result has been found in their recent album “Alpenglow\,” a record that paired Trampled by Turtles with Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy as producer. The Wilco front man took the band under his creative wing\, setting them up in Wilco’s legendary studio and gear storage facility in Chicago\, the Loft\, to write and record what became “Alpenglow”. The rest as they say\, is history.

Her subsequent albums would include “Actor\,” and “Strange Mercy\,” her self-titled fourth album and winner of the 2014 Grammy for Best Alternative Album. In 2017\, “MASSEDUCTION” would break St. Vincent into the U.S. and UK top 10s and win two more Grammy Awards (Best Rock Song for its title track\, and Best Recording Package). 2021’s “Daddy’s Home” found St. Vincent channeling the hungover glamor and gritty sepia-toned soundtrack of 1970s downtown NYC to an ecstatic reception\, ultimately winning her a second Best Alternative Album Grammy. Following a 2021-2022 global tour that reaffirmed St. Vincent’s status as one of live music’s preeminent forces with headline appearances at the likes of the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall\, Clark would begin work on album number seven: Her first fully self-produced album (having co-produced every one of her previous efforts)\, “All Born Screaming” is St. Vincent at her most primal. Featuring Clark leading “a curated group of rippers” through the brawny “Broken Man\,” the mordant catwalk sashay through the deafening assault of self-loathing that is “Big Time Nothing\,” the sublime\, elegiac earworm “Sweetest Fruit\,” “All Born Screaming” is equal parts spiritual desolation and rapturous acceptance.

SUMMARY:Gipsy Kings
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT.\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n  \n‍ \n\n\nNicolas Reyes has been the leader and co-founder of the Gipsy Kings for well over 30 years. In the past three decades\, they have dominated the World Music charts and sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. Their platinum compilation\, The Best of the Gipsy Kings\, was charting for over a year upon its release and their ninth studio album\, Savor Flamenco\, was awarded the Grammy for Best World Music Album in 2013. \nThis iconic legacy began when Nicolas’ father\, Jose Reyes\, formed a celebrated flamenco duo with Manitas de Plata (which boasted fans as famed as Miles Davis and Pablo Picasso). When the pair parted ways\, the elder Reyes became even more popular upon starting his own band\, backed by his son\, called Los Reyes. In later years\, Nicolas headed out on his own and began playing in the town of Arles in the south of France. He traveled throughout the country\, busking on the streets of Saint-Tropez\, playing wherever he could. Having adopted the perpetual motion of the gypsy lifestyle\, his band eventually translated “Los Reyes” and became the Gipsy Kings. \nThe band’s music went on to fuse with popular culture. In addition to the accolades above\, the traveling Gipsy Kings have played some of the world’s greatest stages\, from the Hollywood Bowl to Royal Albert Hall as well as hitting the big screen. Their rendition of “Hotel California” was included in the film “The Big Lebowski” and the HBO series “Entourage”. The 2010 film “Toy Story 3” featured a Gipsy Kings version of the movie’s popular\, Randy Newman-penned theme\, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”. The Gipsy Kings recently featured in a Big Lebowski spinoff “The Jesus Rolls” with Reyes appearing in person with the director and star\, John Turturro\, for some of the promotion. \nAs active as this remarkable collective remains\, they are also confident in the future of their legacy. “Even though it’s been 30 years\, we want to keep on making new music because it’s our life. It’s who we are\,” says Nicolas Reyes. “But I think there will be a time when we pass down the Gipsy Kings to our sons”. \n30 years is an eternity in pop music but the story of the Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes has the depth to endure. Theirs is a music that extends through generations\, to the sounds of their ancestors—Spanish Romani people who fled the Catalonia region during the Spanish Civil War—and reflects the vibrantly eclectic and peripatetic history of the gitanos.

SUMMARY:Stray Cats
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS NOW ON SALE. AVAILABLE ONLINE OR IN-PERSON AT THE TICKET MILL IN THE OLD MILL DISTRICT\nChair rentals available while supplies last.\nNote: chair set up location may be designated on show night.\n\n\n\nSTRAY CATS\, the band that put Rockabilly music back on the record charts in the early ’80s\, scored several big hits on both sides of the Atlantic thanks to a striking visual 1950’s style brought “up to date” with exaggerated pompadours and colorful tattoos and as well as genuine musical chops that evoked the best players of rockabilly’s original heyday. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer\, upright bass player Lee Rocker and drummer Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa\, NY\, in 1979\, the trio shared a love for Rockabilly music. After banging around New York for a few months\, in the summer of 1980\, and seeing a pompadoured kid on the cover of UK magazine NME\, they hopped a plane to London where a rockabilly revival movement was just beginning to emerge. Their massive hits and videos include “Runaway Boys\,” “Rock This Town\,” “Stray Cat Strut” “(She’s) Sexy + 17\,” and “I Won’t Stand in Your Way.” And they’re coming to rock the town of Bend\, Oregon this summer – get ready!
