Whether you are traveling as a family or spending a weekend with friends, Central Oregon is the place to be this spring! With outdoor sports and winter adventures coming to an end, now is the time to start planning your spring activities in Sunriver.
Kick-Off Spring with March Mudness
What better way to say goodbye to the snow than to say hello to the mud? Nothing says I love you quite like slinging mud in the faces of your family and friends!
The 1.5-mile annual event is geared for all ages and offers a timed, competitive race in addition to lots of laughter, of course. Participants can expect challenging obstacles including a watery slide at the finish line, a climbing wall, balance beams, and a famed army crawl. Come prepared to frolic in filth—swim goggles are highly recommended so you can keep an eye on the finish line!
March Mudness will be held on March 24th. Beneficiaries include the American Cancer Society, La Pine-Sunriver Relay for Life, Sunriver Citizens Patrol, Shop with a Cop, and the Sunriver Fire Department.
More Sunriver Spring Activities
The Sunriver Library hosts kid-friendly events throughout the year, though perhaps none is as celebrated as the annual LEGO Block Party, featuring hundreds of different LEGOs. Groups will be in ages 3-5, ages 6-11, and all ages. The annual event is held at different times at all Deschutes Public Library locations.
Did you have an awesome time at Bend’s Winterfest, or did you miss out on all the fun? Here’s your second chance – The Mt. Bachelor Subaru Winterfest will be held April 1st and 2nd. Central Oregon’s lifestyle tour for skiers takes place at Mt. Bachelor and will feature live music, daily giveaways, free VIP parking for Subaru owners, and most importantly, s’mores.
