Very good location

Very good location if you prefer a more quiet residential atmosphere. People that want to be close to where the action is might be disappointed. It is a 8-9 min drive to Sunriver Village and even longer to Sunriver Resort. The small market that is nearby the house is pretty well stocked and an easy drive, bike or walk away and has a gas station. The house is very well stocked with lots of towels, dishes, cooking and baking dishes, tons of coffee cups and glassware. Hot tub is totally indoors and appears clean and well maintained. The furniture is very nice with rustic decor. The house is older and in some places showing its age but it has been tastefully updated and well kept. Surrounding grounds are well maintained and attractive. There were plentiful towels, very nice big, fluffy towels in both bathrooms with extra towels, blankets and pillows in the closets. Lots of “pool” towels in the cabinet in the hot tub room. Beds are comfortable. The house is only two bedroom, two bathroom. There are not any pull out beds for more people. That was fine for my needs but the price seemed high for the limited beds. The odd thing is there was a dining table that was very large, enough for 10 people, there are two full sets of dishes, at least a couple hundred ( not exaggerated) glasses of every kind, shape and size. FIVE kitchen shelves of glassware! There had to be at least 25-30 coffee cups. Why for a two bedroom house? It was just kind of strange. There were all kind of baking dishes, mixing bowls, several cutting boards, large set of silverware (why for two bedroom house), every utensil you might want, but…not a single individual salad bowl unless you were just having a small side salad. The sets of dishes had very shallow soup? type bowls but in my opinion pretty much useless for daily needs. Not going to hold enough cereal for kids. I like to make an individual salad with lots of veggies as my main meal. I had to use the smaller of a set of metal mixing bowls as my salad bowl. The hot tub is nice but the only way to get to it was thru the master bedroom or a door from the deck. The master bedroom does not have a private bathroom, it has a door into the only bathroom used by the main floor. The second bath is downstairs is next to the second bedroom but there is not a door from the bedroom into the bathroom. This house is a split level style with a LOT of stairs. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the house for you. Everything you bring has to be carried up several flights of stairs. Once you are in the main level of the house, there is only one escape route if the house were to catch fire for example, which is the front door. There is no alternative escape route, no stairway off the deck, no back door so if the front door route was compromised you have jump off the deck.
