Clean, But Needs Maintenance

The home was clean and well-stocked with towels, blankets, pillows, pool towels, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub, garage games, Wii, and back patio. Host was very fast at communicating if I needed anything, A couple of things were more our own preference than the fault of the property. The home felt smaller than expected from the photos, and it was farther from the village and pool than we typically prefer, so we ended up driving more than biking.The reason for our lower rating was the number of maintenance issues. Several bikes needed repairs or had flat tires, some outlets didn’t work, a few sinks drained slowly, and the master shower made a loud noise when used. The living room carpet is worn and curled in places, creating a tripping hazard, and some furniture could use updating. We also found dirty diapers left in the outdoor trash can. We knew there was no AC, but the biggest issue was that two of the upstairs bedrooms stayed very warm and were uncomfortable for sleeping. I don’t have room to write more of my review..Overall, it’s a nice home. We appreciated the extra bedrooms and amenities, but for the price, we expected a more polished experience.
