We have been visiting Sunriver for over 30 years and have been in numerous rental homes. We booked Jackpine 8 on short notice, so we were just happy to find a house that fit for our extended family. Village Properties was great and was super helpful to get us in the house early! The house itself is pretty tired compared to the other houses we’ve stayed in. The bad: The mattresses were uncomfortable, the house is very dated and needs a good refreshing, the stovetop is HORRIBLE – you have to jiggle the elements to make them work, the internet is very slow, the fenced in area of the backyard is incredibly overgrown and, unfortunately, the air conditioner malfunctioned while we were there (that said, Village did a great job at getting it fixed as soon as we called.) The good: The hot tub was clean and functioned great, the table inside was a great size for a larger group AND there were plenty of chairs outside for outside eating (the fenced in area is a big plus!), the bedroom set up was perfect for our group, kitchen was VERY well stocked, the location is fantastic and easy to find, the two different living areas gave us a nice way to separate the kids from the adults and it was very clean overall. Bottom line, this is an average house that is well suited for larger groups that don’t care about luxury. I’m not sure we will choose it again, but we still enjoyed our stay and had a great time! – Jody L. from Eugene
