Bachelor’s annual North American Pond Skimming Championships! Take your last run of the season in style across their epic 100-foot-long pond and celebrate the wrap of another winter sports season.

At Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort – West Village Base Area (Get Directions)
Come enjoy this event either as a spectator or competitor at the Pond Skimming Championships. Registered skiiers and snowboarders will celebrate the closing of another great winter sports season by taking their last run and ending by attempting to make it across a 100-foot pond. A panel of local celebrity judges will be present to judge participants and select the best performance!
This event raises funds to benefit a local nonprofit every year. This year’s beneficiary will be Vámonos Outside!
Register to Compete in the Pond Skimming Championships
Mt. Bachelor is inviting 100 registered skimmers to show up in their Sunday best and attempt to make it across the pond without wiping out. Each registered participant will get ONE run only, so give it your all and make it a good one! Participants will be judged by a panel of local celebrity judges, so be sure to send it!
