Summer is finally here in Sunriver! Come down and join us in Oregon's best playground for an unforgettable time with friends and family. With events like the free summer concert series and the Sunriver Sunfest Food and Wine Festival,plus the first phase for redoing the bike paths is complete. Come check it out. Bring the whole family to this event and enjoy a day filled with fun and laughter!

Family Summer Concert Kick Off - July 4th 2010
Concert is to be held at the Meadows Golf Course. Concert starts at 2pm. Come sit and relax while listening to some great music!

Sunrivers Firefighters Picnic - July 4th 2010
This 4th of July celebration is now in it's 41st year. Come enjoy food, fun and games for the whole family including great kid events, bounce houses and plenty of water activities to cool off in the summer sun. Barbecued hamburgers, hotdogs and garden burgers with all the fixins!

$8 Adults, Children 6-12 $5 and under 6 FREE!

This event is hosted by the Sunriver Reserve Firefighters Association with proceeds providing important tools and training for SRFD's reserve firefighters. Limited parking is available at Fort Rock Park. Please consider riding your bike, carpooling or utilizing the parking lot and shuttle service at the SROA parking lot. Info 541-593-8622.

Sunriver Sunfest - July 24th through 25th 2010
The annual Sunriver Sunfest is the only wine competition in Central Oregon. More than 35 wineries from Oregon, Washington and California offer locals and visitors an opportunity to experience wines from throughout the regions. Be sure to vote for your favorite wine as the "People's Choice" winner. Visitors can also peruse a variety of vendors offering fine art, custom jewelry, food and live music entertainment by the Central Oregon Symphony. There are also many activities for children making Sunfest an event the entire family can enjoy!

Deschutes County Fair - July 28st through August 1st
Bright carnival lights, amazing entertainment, extensive educational experiences, a real western high desert rodeo, hundreds of exhibits and nearly 100,000 guests… all are trademarks of one of our area's biggest signature events, the Deschutes County Fair! 2010 will mark the 91st year for this community celebration, which continues to be enjoyed by patrons both young and young at heart.

JELD-WEN Tradition - August 16th through 22nd
The Tradition Champions Tour Golf Tournament at Crosswater Club in Sunriver.
The JELD-WEN Tradition is Oregon's biggest professional golf tournament and one of five major championships on the Champions Tour. This will be the eighth year the JELD-WEN Tradition plays in Oregon. All proceeds from the tournament benefit innovative educational non-profits in Oregon. Pacific Amatuer Golf Classic - Aug.30th - Sept. 4th
This prestigious annual event, now in its 14th year, has been moved to the summer and is open to all amateur golfers who possess an established USGA Handicap.The three-day, net, stroke-play tournament, culminating in playoff competition at Sunriver Resort’s Crosswater, is played on Central Oregon’s finest golf courses. Central Oregon is ranked #23 in the Top 50 Golf Destinations in the World by Golf Digest.
